Three Powerful Tools to Accomplish Your Dreams - Part 1

Posted by: A Freeman in , , , , ,

Are you looking for a road map to make your dreams come true? If so, this article is for you. It deals with the most powerful tools available to anyone: the power of thoughts, words and actions. Although brief, this article provides the tools that you need to be successful. The succeeding articles will have more information on each tool.

Most of us have unfulfilled dreams; we want to improve our finances, the life of our families, and other issues. However, quite often we short-circuit our dreams due to procrastination and reluctance to leave our comfort zone. If you are ready to turn your life around, and fulfill your dreams the following tools will be your best allied.

The First Tool - Our Thoughts

King Salomon said in Proverbs 23:7 that "as a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Thoughts are our first power; and we must take them seriously because:
  • It's in our thoughts that our dreams are formed, polished, nurtured and tasted.
  • You can train and supervise your thoughts to create the life that you want.
  • Without training and supervision your thoughts will create a life that you may not like at all.
  • Right now, not tomorrow, you can start thinking on what you want to become. How? In Romans 12:2 the apostle Paul said "be transformed by the renewal of your mind..." As you see, to change your life you must change your thoughts; this is true not only for the spiritual, but to all aspects of life.
  • Think about your dreams continually. Let them become the dominant thought in your mind; your subconscious will get the message and become your best allied.
Our thoughts deal with a conscious and a subconscious mind. The first uses the language of logic, as we are using now; the second uses the language of emotions, feelings, and images. Your subconscious influences your actions; therefore, it is important that you use positive thoughts and words to imprint your dreams in your subconscious mind.

Create your dream board and begin training your subconscious today. Think of it several times a day, and watch the emotions, feelings and images of your dreams transform your life. What if you are not around your dream board? You can still use visualization to review it, and experience everything any where and any time.
Nevertheless, the dominant thought that you have imprinted in your mind, must now be expressed in words, as you will see in the next paragraph.

The Second Tool - Our Words
Make sure that your words agree with your thoughts. Just as our thoughts, words have a big part in guiding our lives. This is not magic, just the way we are; if you check it, you will discover that your words have a profound influence in your actions. Here are some things to consider:
  • If you think: "I am healthy," then, you must also say aloud "I am healthy."
  • What you speak creates opportunities to make you healthy, or whatever you want.
  • Thoughts, words, and actions are decisively interconnected.
  • Harmonize these three tools, and you will accomplish any goal in life.
  • Repeat positive thoughts and words through out the day and your subconscious will work overtime to make it a reality. It will do so by influencing your actions as you shall see next.
The Third Tool - Our Actions
Actions are extremely important, but the most ignored ingredient of our dreams. Many people have an action plan, but they fail to implement those actions. Why?
  1. Fear of failure keeps many people from acting on their plans.
  2. Lack of patience to implement the action plan.
  3. They believe that it takes too long to see results.
  4. If there is a football game, they find the perfect excuse not do act, while hoping that they will succeed, but they fail.
Here is something that you should do every single day:
  1. Get your dream board and repeat each one of your dreams every day.
  2. Visualize your dreams, and your subconscious will help you fulfill them.
  3. Create an action plan and act on it continually.
  4. Eliminate distractions that can disrupt your daily actions.
  5. When writing and repeating objectives you should be very specific: For example, "Within a year I will be making 10k monthly."
Did you get the picture? Begin using these powerful tools today with patience, persistence and faith. Our mind has three powerful tools waiting for an opportunity to fulfill our dreams. Your thoughts words and actions are waiting for your command; go ahead and conquer the world.
